Models of signaling pathways in living cells include studies of the origin of cooperativity in the activation of fundamental biological sensors (HSLs, small RNA, peptides, ...) as well as models of microbial community size monitors (quorum sensing). The models are developed in collaboration with Martin Welch (Biochemistry, Cambridge), Chris Workman (Bioengineering, DTU), Jesper Ferkinghoff-Borg (Novo Nordisk), Kim Sneppen (Niels Bohr Inst., UCPH), J. Christian Brasen (Lundbeck), ...

Models of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamis in treatment of bacterial infections are developed in collaboration with Niels Høiby, Claus Moser, Peter Østrup Jensen, Mette Kolpen, Thomas Bjarnsholt, and Michael Givskov (UCPH and CPH University Hospital).
